About Claude Watermark Remover

What this site is

Claude Watermark Remover is an independent, free tool that finds and cleans the invisible characters that creep into text: zero-width spaces, joiners, odd spaces, control characters and, optionally, em dashes. It exists because the topic of AI watermarks is full of confident claims that do not hold up, and people deserve a tool that is precise about what it can and cannot do.

Principles

Check the privacy claim yourself

  1. Open your browser's developer tools and go to the Network tab.
  2. Paste text into any tool on this site and click Clean Text or Scan.
  3. You will see no request carrying your text. At launch the site loads no third-party scripts, ads or analytics.

How it is built

The site is plain HTML and CSS with one small JavaScript file per feature, and no frameworks. The cleaner walks your text one Unicode code point at a time, looks each one up in a table of invisible and unusual characters, and then decides whether to keep, remove or normalise it. Safe mode adds context rules, such as checking the neighbouring letters before keeping a joiner.
